The Trump administration has proposed terminating the Flores Settlement Agreement, a decades-old ruling that protects children held in government custody by regulating the length and conditions of detention.

We have until November 6 to voice our outrage. Make your public comment right now to demand the government keep Flores protections for immigrant children.

Trump's anti-immigrant agenda has been a hallmark of his administration. widespread ICE abuses, ramped-up deportations, record-low refugee admissions, and an inhumane family separation policy have upended thousands of lives. And if this rule moves forward and Flores is terminated, the government could massively expand and prolong the detention of children – causing them lifelong psychological harm.

It may seem like there's no stopping Trump, but that's just not true. Last summer, public backlash shamed the administration into ending its "zero tolerance" and family separation policies. That shows us Trump is susceptible to public pressure. If enough of us speak up again, we can get his administration to protect Flores and protect immigrant children.

Submit your public comment now: The Trump administration must keep the Flores Settlement intact and stop its proposed expansion of family jails.

The Trump administration is trying to strip away every last protection for immigrant children and looking for ways to detain them indefinitely, but we can stop them. It's up to us to safeguard the rights of every child in U.S. government custody.

Stay in the fight,
