Toledo hosts 2nd Annual Jeep® Fest

Downtown Toledo was the site of the 2nd Toledo Jeep® Fest, which ran from August 10 – August 12, 2018 and featured vintage Jeeps from around the nation. There was a Jeep parade through downtown with about 1,800 Jeeps participating; also, an All-Jeep Car Show at SeaGate Convention Centre. Imagination Station took part in the festivities with Kid’s Zone activities.

“This has been a year-long effort for the committee and it really touches the DNA of who we are in Toledo,” stated Cindy Kerr, vice president of operations for ConnecToledo, the entity that manages Downtown Toledo. “It’s been a great collaborative effort of many corporate and non-profit organizations in the city led by Jerry Huber, a former Jeep plant manager, who is serving as event chairman.

According to Destination Toledo, the Convention, and Visitors Bureau, the 1st Jeep® Fest generated between $2.7 million and $3.4 million in economic impact activity.
