Children’s Health Day at Imagination Station, August 4

TOLEDO: Get your kids healthy and ready for the new school year at our Children’s Health Day event, Saturday, August 4, 2018, 10am - 5pm.

Imagination Station will host local businesses and groups dedicated to children’s health, including the American Heart Association, Pita Pit, and the Willow Center. Reps from these groups will bring health and wellness activities geared towards getting kids active and mindful about taking care of their bodies.

The event is a great opportunity to get them in the learning mindset before school starts while still having fun. Parents can also discover valuable resources, contacts and information about children’s wellness.

Children’s Health Day is inspired by BODY WORLDS Rx, presented by ProMedica. In its last month at the science center, this incredible exhibit shows kids—and parents—the human body in a visually impactful way that the typical classroom can’t. It’s the perfect companion to Children’s Health Day, so kids can really see what happens if they keep slouching or if they eat too much sugary foods. BODY WORLDS Rx only runs through Labor Day.

Children’s Health Day is included with general admission. BODY WORLDS Rx tickets must be purchased and are available at Imagination Station and on its website at imaginationstationtoledo.org/bodyworldsrx.

All Lucas County residents receive a $1.50 discount and FREE Saturday admission for kids, 12 and under, with paid adult admission. For more information, call 419.244.2674 or visit www.imaginationstationtoledo.org.
