Heritage Village Apartments celebrated
TOLEDO, July 16, 2018: Vistula Management Company
announced in ceremony the completion of New Heritage Village
Apartments in the Vistula Neighborhood, located at 1207
North Superior St., Toledo, Ohio 43604.
“This is a 41-building scattered site with 250 units for low
income families that is really the core of the Vistula
neighborhood in North Toledo,” said John Kiely, president
of Vistula Management Company. “These buildings were
first renovated in 1980 and this was a major renovation This is
a major step for this neighborhood just north of the booming
Nine of the buildings have photovoltaic solar panels. More than
half of the buildings are in the historic district and qualify
for historic tax credits, Mr. Kiely said.
US Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur and Mayor Wade
spoke briefly; also present and spoke were
representatives from the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD],
Ohio Capital, and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency.
The project was also funded by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency,
9 Percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
