Event on Friday, January 10 to feature Monster Jam® truck Crushstation with driver Greg Winchenbach

WHAT & WHO:      Monster Jam® and the Michigan State Police will join forces to present a special program for 700 students of César Chávez Academy High School to educate them about the dangers, consequences and prevention of road rage and aggressive driving.

The “Monster Jam® and Michigan State Police Rolls Over Road Rage” event will kick-off with a presentation by Lieutenant Michael A. Shaw, Public Information Officer with the Michigan State Police.

Following the presentation, Monster Jam® truck driver Greg Winchenbach will speak to students and ask them to text, tweet and/or post a pledge to stop road rage (#MJStopsRoadRage). Students will then go outside for photos with Greg where his Monster Jam® truck, Crushstation, will be on display.

The Michigan State Police recently launched a campaign to reduce aggressive driving.. Like our state’s leadership in safe driving efforts, Monster Jam®, one of the most popular motor sports brands in the world, is committed to ending road rage and aggressive driving. Using the largest recreational trucks in the world to drive home this message makes a powerful impact on young drivers and influences them to be more cautious behind the wheel.
