-
6 p.m., Thursday, December 6 at Gourmet Family Restaurant,
32775 Lorain Road
-
6 p.m., Monday, December 10 at Lone Tree restaurant, 33009

Courses at the UPRC will begin Monday, January 7, 2013 for
students in The University of Toledo’s Computer Science and
Engineering program through LCCC’s University Partnership. A
10-week session of LCCC classes will begin on Monday, February
25.
Registration for courses at the UPRC can be completed in person
in the Bass Community Library and Resource Center on LCCC’s main
campus in Elyria.
UPRC will offer degree programs in digital forensics, web
development, information systems, computer science and
engineering, entrepreneurship, network communications and many
more. These programs are designed to get local students trained
and ready to enter the workforce in these high-demand areas.
“Each year, 2,500 IT jobs go unfilled in Northeast Ohio. It is
exciting that LCCC is able to bring these programs that will
prepare students for these jobs to this area,” said John Crooks,
Associate Provost of the LCCC University Partnership program.
“Some of these programs will be phased in, so I encourage
everyone interested in training in these areas to come to an
information session to learn what’s in the works at the UPRC.”
UPRC is conveniently located in
North Ridgeville on Lorain Road adjacent to the Interstate 480
east entrance ramp.
