CASA ALMA/CASA MARIA relocates
more than 15 years located at a two-floor building convent in
the premises of the Blessed Sacrament Church on Fulton and
Trowbridge, Hispanic UMADAOP Miguel PrietoTreatment Services
CASA ALMA/CASA MARIA is relocating to 2202 Prame
Avenue, Cleveland, a property of West Side Ministries. The new
home (three floors and a basement), 11,000 square feet, will
house up to nine men and six women as part of our inpatient
residential chemical dependency treatment program.
The Hispanic Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach
Program, Inc. (Hispanic UMADAOP) is a state-certified
organization which has been responsibly providing essential
bilingual and bicultural alcohol and drug treatment and
prevention services to residents of the Latino and Near West
Side community for more than 20 years.
“We are very excited to reopen CASA ALMA/CASA MARIA and continue
to provide our customary quality treatment services to the
Cleveland community as our founder, Miguel Prieto, did so
many years ago, ” said Hispanic UMADAOP Board of Trustees Chair,
Hispanic UMADAOP management hosted an Open House on October 12,
2012 with a reception, presentation and ribbon cutting
ceremony, and a tour of the facility.
