featured at CPL’s Writers and Readers series
Cleveland Public Library
welcomes political analyst, Pulitzer Prize-winner, and
Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson as part of the
Writers & Readers series on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2:00
p.m. in the Louis Stokes Wing Auditorium, East 6th
and Superior Ave.
The topic of this lively discussion is “Today’s News-Who’s Up,
Who’s Down, and What’s Going On.” Mr. Robinson is regularly seen
giving political commentary on MSNBC. His latest book
Disintegration: The Splintering of Black America, was
published in 2010. Eugene Robinson’s storytelling ability,
experience and finely-tuned reporting skills let to his winning
the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for his commentary on the 2008
presidential race.
The Cleveland Public Library’s Writers & Readers author series
showcases the Library’s role in promoting books and reading to
the Greater Cleveland Community. All Writers & Readers events
are free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
