Jazz vocalist Kelly
Broadway to perform at Lourdes College
On Sunday, January 24, Toledo native and jazz vocalist Kelly
Broadway will perform live in concert alongside her
seven-piece band at Lourdes College. Currently, she is
headlining for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Celebrity
Cruises with her 7-piece show “Kelly Broadway Sings and
Swings.”
For nearly 20 years, Broadway performed throughout the United
States, sharing the stage with jazz greats such as Dave
Frishberg, Leroy Vinnegar, Mike Wofford, and Pink Martini. She
has been a featured guest with The Oregon Pops Symphony and has
performed at a variety of festivals including the Mt. Hood
Festival of Jazz.
Kelly has been a lead vocalist in jazz bands including Birdland,
Village Vangaurd, and the Blue Note. Her first album, Kelly
Broadway in Concert, was recorded by Pillar Productions and
gained regional accolades and airplay on radio shows such as NPR
and Seattle Jazz.
Kelly Broadway will perform in the Franciscan Theatre &
Conference Center at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12
