The second concert features classical music and will be held
Sunday, Nov.
9, 2008, at 4 p.m. in the UT Center for Performing
Arts Recital Hall. Pianist Robert Ballinger will present a
solo piano
recital featuring the Fantasia in c minor, K.396,
of Mozart,
and Schumann’s magnificent Phantasie in C, Op. 17. The “crown
jewel” of Schubert’s piano sonatas, the monumental Sonata in
B-Flat, D.960, completes the program.
