Latino
Fest 2007 was awesome
Thousands
attended the riverfront venue for LatinoFest 2007—the 7th,
held along the Maumee River in downtown
Toledo,
Ohio on
June 9, 2007.
Dozens of
vendors were present along with screaming fans to hear a variety
of Latino music from bands such as Sammy De León y Su Orquesta
(Salsa, from Cleveland), Los Cuatro Vientos (Conjunto, Fremont),
Mas Caliente (Tejano, Saginaw), Eddie G and Lil T (Toledo), with
the headliner of Bobby Pulido (Tejano, Texas).

also performed.
DJ Freddy G
was the MC.
Events such as
LatinoFest take much planning. The volunteer committee is
comprised of Co-chairs Consuelo Hernández and Bob Salazar, along
with participants Mary Morales, Margarita De León, Freddy
Gutiérrez, Katherine Trinidad, María Trinidad, Theresa
Morris-Ramos, Betty Hernández, Mateo Espinoza, Celso Rodríguez,
Jeff Sabo, Andrea Rodríguez-Ahl, Rebecca Martínez, Linda De La
Peña, Alvina Costilla, Julie Champa, Mark Urrutia, Olga Jaimez,
George Plasencio, Elaine Osgood, Jesse Jaquez, and Connie Hoffman.
