            Abundant Life of Perrysburg is accepting applications for its subsidized apartment facilities.  Abundant Life #1 offers independent living for senior citizens 62 years of age or older and individuals 55 or older with a physical impairment.  Abundant Life #2 is a supportive living complex for people 62 and older.  To apply individuals must meet the age requirement and an annual income requirement of no more than $20,000.00 for one person or $22,850.00 for two people. 

            We are located in the Three Meadows subdivision near the Manor of Perrysburg. Our garden apartments offer one bedroom, private patios, with individually controlled thermostats for heat and air conditioning. 

            Abundant Life #1 offers bathtubs, while Abundant Life #2 offers walk-in showers and pull cords for emergencies.

The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc. (AOoA) is soliciting bids for the provision of priority senior services for persons 60 years of age and older for Program Years 2015-18 for the counties of Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Sandusky, Williams and Wood.  Pursuant to Title III of the Older Americans Act (as amended), Ohio Senior Community Services Funds, Ohio Alzheimer’s Funds and Lucas County Senior Services Levy, bids for the priority services solicited by the AOoA will be accepted from any public, private non-profit or for-profit organization.  Services that will be funded are limited to chore, personal care, homemaker, transportation, medical transportation, escort/assisted transportation, medical assessment, health education, socialization/recreation, home maintenance/repairs, legal assistance, supportive services, adult day services, Alzheimer’s respite care, care coordination, benefits counseling, elder abuse, and Long-Term Care Ombudsman.   Applications may be obtained on-line at www.areaofficeonaging.com  beginning on September 15, 2014.  A Bidder’s Workshop is scheduled for September 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the AOoA.  Applications must be received and date-stamped by the AOoA, 2155 Arlington Ave., Toledo, OH 43609 not later than 5:00 PM EDT, October 15, 2014 to be considered under this request for proposals.  


NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING -- SERVICE CHANGES

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority will hold a public hearing at 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Authority's TARPS offices located on 130 Knapp Street, Toledo, Ohio for the purpose of presenting to the public, information on service changes necessitated by anticipated modifications to scheduled pick-up time “windows”.

The site is accessible to persons with mobility impairments, and interpretive services for the hearing-impaired will be available.  Individuals wishing to comment in person on the proposed changes should be present.

Proposed Changes:

  • A test change of the on-time pick-up “window” of 15 minutes before the scheduled time an 15 minutes after scheduled time to 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time and 20 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.

Por la presente, la Junta Electoral del Condado de Cuyahoga notifica a las personas que deseen votar en la Elección General del 4 de noviembre de 2014 que deben inscribirse para votar a no más tardar del 6 de octubre de 2014. Si una persona ya está inscrita para votar en el Estado de Ohio y desea cambiar de nombre y/o de dirección al Condado de Cuyahoga, puede hacerlo en la Junta Electoral del Condado de Cuyahoga, hasta e incluso el Día de las Elecciones. El Día de las Elecciones, usted puede informar el cambio y votar con una papeleta provisional en la oficina de la Junta Electoral o en el lugar de votación del distrito electoral en el cual está ubicada su nueva dirección electoral.

 

Usted está calificado para inscribirse para votar en Ohio si cumple con todos los siguientes requisitos:
